What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a site. Depending on its purpose, it helps the site work, measures its audience, or personalises content. Our marketing site uses a limited number of cookies. Public loyalty-programme enrollment pages use no marketing tracking cookies at all.
Cookie categories
- Essential — needed for the site to work and stay secure, for example to remember your consent choice. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — help us understand site usage, in aggregate, so we can improve it. We favour privacy-friendly analytics with no advertising cookies (for example Plausible or a self-hosted equivalent).
- Marketing — would be used to measure our campaigns or personalise messages. Today the site uses no marketing cookies; if any are added, they would be set only with your consent.

Our analytics (Plausible) is cookieless: it sets no identifier on your device. The site sets no marketing or advertising cookies.
Consent and control
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies — some site features may then stop working correctly.
