Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of the loyalty card you add to your wallet.
Last updated: 2 June 2026. These terms apply to customers who add a Wafiy loyalty card or gift card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. They are not the commercial contract that governs Wafiy and its partner merchants.
Acceptance
By enrolling and adding a card to your wallet, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not add the card.
The service
Wafiy provides the technology that lets Moroccan merchants issue loyalty cards, campaigns and gift cards in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet — no app, no account. The card updates remotely and can appear on your lock screen.
The card is provided on behalf of the merchant
Each card is issued in the name of a partner merchant. That merchant sets the programme's terms: stamp or point rules, rewards, gift-card validity, tiers. Wafiy provides the platform; the merchant remains responsible for its programme and offers. For any question about a specific reward, balance or offer, contact the merchant concerned.
Gift cards
When a partner merchant offers gift cards, the card is issued and guaranteed by that merchant, who is the issuer and sole obligor for the value; Wafiy provides the technology only. Before purchase, the merchant tells you the amount, any expiry date and the conditions of use. On expiry, the treatment of any unused balance is set by the merchant, within the limits of Law 31-08 on consumer protection. For any question about a gift card, its balance or its validity, contact the issuing merchant.
Acceptable use
- Give accurate information at enrollment, including a valid phone number that belongs to you.
- Do not use the service fraudulently — for example to generate undue stamps, rewards or credits.
- Do not tamper with, copy or bypass the security mechanisms of passes or validation links.
- Your card is personal. Do not transfer it to misappropriate a programme's benefits.
No warranty on third-party wallets
Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are services operated by Apple and Google. Wafiy does not control these apps or their availability. Whether lock-screen notifications appear depends on your device, its operating system and your settings. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of these third-party services.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Wafiy is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use or unavailability of the service, a third-party wallet, or a notification channel. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Personal data
The processing of your data is described in our privacy policy. You can exercise your rights via the Data access & control page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Moroccan law; any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Moroccan courts, without prejudice to the protective rules applicable to consumers.
Changes
We may update these terms. The last-updated date appears at the top. Continued use of your card after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
